Introducing New BlackBerry Storm 3 With Great Features

Research in Motion (RIM) has been secretly been trying to make a new phone that will replace the much popular BlackBerry Storm 2. This device, to-be-called BlackBerry Storm 3 has not been announced by RIM yet, but many details of this device have been leaked on the internet, although many could prove to be false. But should at least some of them make it into the Storm 3, BlackBerry will be having a clear winner in their hands. This is because the BlackBerry Storm 3 is expected to be revolutionary rather than being evolutionary in both hardware and software.

One of the key areas where the new BlackBerry Storm 3 could get an upper hand over its rivals, and indeed its own brothers is in the operating system. The Storm 3 was initially expected to be sporting the new BlackBerry OS 6. However, with the launch of the new BlackBerry Playbook that featured the QNX operating system, it too is expected to be sporting this new operating system. That would make the Storm 3 as the first BlackBerry phone to do so. The new QNX OS is a very demanding operating system, but the new Storm 3 comes with more than enough features to handle that. The phone is expected to be running on a 1 GHZ processor. There will be more than 8 GB of ROM and RAM is expected around 1 GB. This would not make this the fastest and most powerful BlackBerry ever, but also the most powerful smartphone ever.

These specifications were leaked on the web by Gizmo Fusion and it remains to be seen if these actual specs go into production. The BlackBerry Storm 3 is expected to be using a 3.7 inch touch screen display to display this wonderful new operating system, which could become the darling of the masses after the Android’s of this world. The device has not even been named as the Storm 3 and there are also rumours in this department and they suggest that this phone could be named as the Monaco. The phone is expected to come with 8 GB internal storage and in addition to this; it will also be giving support for micro-SD cards. A 5 megapixel camera is also expected on the cards and this would be more than enough for the occasional photography. It is also good for shooting videos as it comes with the video recording facilities.

The BlackBerry Storm 3’s launch date and pricing has not been announced by RIM. In fact, RIM has not disclosed anything regarding this phone, while there were even suggestions that this phone could be dropped after the much awaited launch was postponed and the BlackBerry Playbook was launched instead. However, new reports suggest that this device is not dead yet and there still could be news awaiting in the launch sections. RIM could be launching this phone as early as Q1 in next year and the phone is expected to be available across several network providers in the UK. It is also suggested to visit phone deals to make a right decision.
